Description Iowa Birdline update for October 8, 1990. Highlights of the update include the continued presence of a California Gull, a Yellow Rail, and a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. Also of note were sightings of a very late Black Tern, a female Black-throated Blue Warbler, and numerous shorebirds and waterfowl. Also included is an update on the sighting of two rare birds, a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper and a Mew Gull.
