| Description |
Iowa RBA update for September 23-25, 1996. Highlights of the update include sightings of a Yellow Rail and a Marbled Godwit. Other interesting observations from and IOU field trip include Le Conte's Sparrows, Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows, a Peregrine Falcon, a Merlin, and a Hen Harrier. Also of note were the sightings of 12 species of shorebirds at Union Slough National Wildlife Refuge and a Red-breasted Nuthatch north of Iowa City. |
