The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 23, Number 9, May 1989. Highlights of the newsletter include the announcement of upcoming field trips and summer outings including a canoe trip and bird atlasing, a report of a shorebird field trip in which few shorebirds were seen but 65 total species were observed, and the 1989-1990 slate of society officer candidates to be voted on at the official annual meeting in May. |
