Other observers include Tom Kent and Jane Fuller. | Elimination of similar species: Ringed Turtle Dove has darker general coloring, and lacks the two-toned undertail and three-toned upperwing. Mourning Dove is smaller, has a pointed tail with white terminal areas, and lacks the black line on the hindneck, the two-toned undertail, and the three-toned upperwing. | The original documentation form event lasted from approximately 12:15:00/12:18:00 on January 6, 1999 and 11:35:00/11:38:00 on January 7, 1999. |

Viewing Conditions: Both days were cold, windy, and overcast around midday. Looking north to northwest at about 75-150 feet and then south at about 75 feet with Swift Audubon 8.5 X 44 binoculars. |
