Woodpeckers - Then I reasoned No - They have black bellies and are solid black with the wing patches and the fact that the other two were Sparrow like in coloring - Made me take another look. |

Viewing Conditions: [...] Four birds flew-up and we used are binoc's to view (7x50) them. [...] The day was hot and dry. [...] They seemed to come up from the pasture to our right and fly across the road about 25 ft from us. |
