Description Field notes were contributed by Beth Proescholdt, Liscomb, Iowa, summer 1984. Other observers were Mark Proescholdt and Phyllis Harris. Twenty species were sighted, including a Piping Plover with nest, a late migrant or resident Alder Flycatcher, a Veery and Bell's Vireo singing, a Yellow-throated Vireo, and Blue Grosbeaks. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984.
