Description Letter from Thomas Stephens to Philip DuMont dated January 30, 1933. In this letter Stephens discussing publishing DuMont's paper on the Little Brown Crane and says that the only evidence of the Long-billed Curlew in the Sioux City region comes from taxidermist A.J. Anderson who has reported sighting the bird and is familiar with it from handling specimens obtained from Nebraska.
