Occurrence Remarks |
The documentation form by James Dinsmore is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Other observers include Joe Schaufenbuel, Steve Dinsmroe, Mark Dixon, Hank Zaletel, Eugene Armstrong, and Eloise Armstrong. | Elimination of similar species: Horned/Eared Grebe - size was too large and bill was too long, also no head or ear tufts (we saw a Horned Grebe a few minutes before finding this bird) | The original documentation form event occurred around 17:00:00. |

Event Remarks |
Viewing Conditions: 20 power spotting scope, sky overcast with scattered showers so lighting was poor but we got to perhaps 250 yards from the bird |
