Occurrence Remarks |
The documentation form by Carl J. Bendorf is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Other observers include Tom Kent, Tom Staudt, and Ross Silcock. | Elimination of similar species: This bird was about 2/3 size of the Snows. Noticeably shorter relative neck length. Bill much smaller and relatively much stubbier. Forehead was very rounded, not angled in line with the bill like the Snow Geese. Bill color suggested slight darkening at base. | The original documentation form event lasted from 09:30:00/09:35:00. |
