Occurrence Remarks The documentation form by Thomas J. Staudt is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Other observers include Carol Newlon and a Christmas Bird Count group. | Elimination of similar species: large size and eyebrow strip eliminate other accipiters. Buteo's are generally browner, shorter tail, and also lack an eyebrow strip. Osprey is also browner and has more extensive white on the head. Osprey also would have noticeably long wings. | The original documentation form event lasted from 09:10:00/09:15:00.
