Wilson is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. | Elimination of similar species: Other large shorebirds Hudsonian Godwit: White wingstripe + in rump Dowitchers: white rump + back Long-billed Curlew: similar I think the bill was straight but am eliminating this mainly by probability. | The original documentation form event lasted from 07:30:00/07:31:00.

Event Remarks Viewing Conditions: 8x binoculars. I can show you the distance, but can't measure it off a map, as the terrace is newer than the maps we have. The whole property isn't wider than a 1/4 1/4 section, + the bird wasn't at the far side of it at first. The bird was nearly due west of me. My weather notes for this census say 'sunny, few fluffy clouds, light breeze from NW".
