Other observers include Ann Johnson and others. | Elimination of similar species: Most gulls don't have forked tails. Sabine's gull's mantle pattern is different, grey on inner part of wing and black only on outer part. Little gull doesn't have black legs and is very small. |

Viewing Conditions: Bird was pretty close to south shore of tail waters, where I was viewing with Leitz 10X40's and Kowa scope. |
