A Red-Necked Phalarope has vivid streaks on its back and a longer, thinner bill. Viewing Conditions: Mostly sunny, sun at my back or side as I looked easterly. Very strong NW winds from behind me. 90 yards away near the restrooms to 20 yards away estimated. 8x30 Binocs and 22x scope. |
