The documentation form by Carl J. Bendorf is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Other observers include Thomas Kent, Thomas Staudt, Bob Myers, and Francis Moore. | Elimination of similar species: Peterson's Field Guide (2nd edition) describes the Prairie as ' the only common Warbler with yellow underparts striped with black in which the stripings are confined to the sides.' He also states that no other warbler has the chestnut streakings on the upper back. | The original documentation form event lasted from 08:05:00/09:00:00. |

Viewing Conditions: Clear sky, bright sun. As bird moved around we had excellent views from many angles at distances estimated from 20 to 200 feet. Bendorf: 7X35 binos, Kent: 8x40 binos and Celestron 750mm camera lens, Staudt: 7X50 binos. |
