Description Summary for the Iowa Birdline update for May 13, 1990. Highlights of the update include two reports of Western Kingbirds from further east in the state than they are usually seen and a noticeable increase in the number of Warbler sightings statewide. Also of note were sightings of a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, a Sandhill Crane, and a Mississippi Kite flyover. In addition, there were reports of many species of shorebirds, including 3 Wilson's Phalaropes and 20 Hudsonian Godwits.
