Moore, Robert Cecil, and Paul Martsching were submitted. | Elimination of similar species: The darker body plumage and dark tail band eliminate Iceland Gull (Kumlien's form). The smaller size, smaller, more delicate bill, more rounded head, silvery white underwing pattern, more uniform body color, and more uniform upperwing pattern eliminate first winter Herring Gull. | The original documentation form event lasted from 10:50:00/11:55:00 and 15:50:00/16:05:00 on November 23, 1986 and 14:50:00/15:35:00 on November 24, 1986. |

Viewing Conditions: Viewing conditions were excellent with a cloudy sky and the sun directly behind me. Estimated viewing distance was 50 yards at closest on the beach and 200+ yards near the dam. I used a Buschnell 20-45x spotting scope. |
