Description |
Lecture notes delivered May 5, 1933. Notes for a presentation given by Philip DuMont during the 1933 annual meeting of the Iowa Ornithologists' Union discusses that while some ornithologists may be interested in subspecies, field notes should only record the species since determining a subspecies in the field is not reliable and should be only undertaken by the close study of collected specimens. |
