Undated research notes. This is a list of birds sighted in Boone County on May 14, 1933 between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. by Walter Rosene, Sr., Robert Walker, and Walter Rosene, Jr. The sighting of 124 species of birds in single day by a single observer or party of observers is believed to be a record for Iowa. Included within this list are ten species of Duck, twelve species of Sparrow, and fifteen species of Warbler.
