Letter from Bill Youngworth to Woodward Hart Brown dated May 17, 1963. Youngworth states that publishing general bird notes is a good way for people who don't write full articles to get a byline in ornithology periodicals. He laments that the current editor of Iowa Bird Life does not publish as many as the previous editor did, and that the Wilson Bulletin no longer publishes any at all. Youngworth also discusses the ebb of native bird life.
