The typewritten report details Leopold's findings on the nesting habits of Wood Ducks, including the following: nest site selection, Wood Duck nesting boxes, mating, egg laying, incubation, hatching, departure from the nest, travel of ducklings to water, predatory animals, and maintenance of the Wood Duck nest boxes.
