Fred Lesher letter to Peter C. Petersen was regarding Bald Eagle nests, April 12, 1985. He was concerned that American Birds noted he reported nesting Bald Eagles in northeast Iowa when he had only reported that Bald Eagles had constructed a nest at Pool Slough near New Albin, with no eggs or young. He mentioned a map of another nest site that he and Darwin Koenig found near Wexford Creek. "Jim D." is noted in blue on the side of p. 2, and later James J. Dinsmore wrote letters explaining the nest confusion. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984.
