I have seen a number of Baird's at this location in the last few weeks. They were browner above and had a buffy breast. The streaks on the sides also suggested White-rumped. Having seen the white rump on two consecutive days convinced me of my first fall White-rumped Sandpiper for Iowa. | The original documentation form event lasted from 09:30:00/10:00:00 approximately.

Sanderling larger with proportionately shorter bill, always shows dark bend of wing in basic plumage. Basic-plumaged Dunlin comparable in size to Pectoral Sandpiper with more substantial and drooped bill, gray wash across entire breast. | The original documentation form event lasted from 14:30:00/16:00:00.
