I knew it was unusual and also knew it was a Red Knot from the breast and the bill size which I estimated as twice as long as the Killdeers bill and Dowitcher - bill was shorter than dowitcher and dark back. The Franklin Gull does not have black feet and the Franklins feet extend almost to the tip of the tail. The Kittiwakes feet extended only to the underwing.
