Highlights of the update include sightings of Pacific Loon, a first winter Black-legged Kittiwake, a Surf Scoter, a first winter Thayer's Gull, and an immature Golden Eagle. Other observations of note were of a very late Scarlet Tanager, 2 Carolina Wrens, 2 Rough-legged Hawks, and 5 Bald Eagles.

Highlights of the updates include the continued presence of an Ivory Gull, a Townsend's Solitaire, a Black-legged Kittiwake, and Eurasian Tree Sparrows. Also of note were sightings of Red Crossbills, a Varied Thrush, a Northern Mockingbird, and 44 Great Horned Owls. Also included are the results from several Christmas bird counts from around the state.
