Highlights of the update include a recap of sightings from the fall IOU meeting, including a flyover Black-billed Magpie, nine raptor species, and a variety of Warblers for a total of 106 species seen. [...] I observed a conspicuous superciliary strip but otherwise, the bird did not look right for a Carolina. The body appeared slimmer than a Carolina, and the tail was longer.
