Dinsmore explained how a Bald Eagle nest reported to him by Lesher was confused with one in New Albin in a write-up in American Birds. Included was a map showing the location of the nest in Allamakee County. Others mentioned in the letter were Peter C. Petersen and Margaret M. Anderson. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984.
