Grinnell (Poweshiek County) At the north edge of town. In and around an evergreen tree on a farmstead along the north side of 16th Avenue on 6 January, and in small trees on the country club golf course on the south side of 16th Avenue on 7 January.

Other observers include Tom Kent and Jane Fuller. | Elimination of similar species: Ringed Turtle Dove has darker general coloring, and lacks the two-toned undertail and three-toned upperwing. Mourning Dove is smaller, has a pointed tail with white terminal areas, and lacks the black line on the hindneck, the two-toned undertail, and the three-toned upperwing. | The original documentation form event lasted from approximately 12:15:00/12:18:00 on January 6, 1999 and 11:35:00/11:38:00 on January 7, 1999.
