The best new bird seen in the state was Barrow's Goldeneye, first sighted at Forneys Lake. Other notable accidental bird species seen were a Red-throated Loon at Cedar Lake, a Eurasian Wigeon at Sweet Marsh, and a Rock Wren in Woodbury County. The last two pages explain the process for preparing the report and plans for others to take over in the future.
