Also of note was the large number of shorebirds being observed throughout the state, including Dowitchers and a Stilt Sandpiper. In addition, a birding trip to the Lake Red Rock and Runnells area produced 75 species of birds, including Hen Harrier, American Bittern, and 8 species of shorebirds.
