It was submitted to Environmental Services Division, Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company, Davenport, Iowa, July 1984. Three visits were made in 1984 and compared with 1983 to re-evaluate the breeding population of the preserve, with dozens of species listed along with their breeding status. On the title page of the report was a note from Peter C. Petersen to James J. Dinsmore that he had included the most significant records in a separate report. That report listed six species at BSMNP. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984.
